September 2003 marked the beginning of a new era for Dave Bofill and staff. Modern Yachts, the four acre full service marina facility located on the world famous Shinnecock Canal, was acquired. A three year “Yacht Club” renovation plan was adopted and today we’re complete.
Part of the overall plan was to consolidate our Hamptons sales and service business and to bring it all under one “roof”. Well, that time has come! As of November 1st, 2006 all sales and service will be conducted from our on water Modern Yachts Shinnecock Canal facility. The new boat product lines that we will be offering will remain the same: Chris Craft, Scout and Carolina Classic; premium quality, lower volume products.
